Rinsing the filters completely is extremely important to achieve the best results from the Dream Tree Ceramic Conversion System. We suggest you use a source with good water pressure to ensure the filters are rinsed properly. Some even use the bath tub because the pressure generated is greater than their kitchen sink. Tap water contains any number of contaminants and in municipal areas chlorine that can be harmful or even toxic to the body. The Ceramic Conversion System does not remove anything, it is designed to put the good back into the water that the filtration process takes out. I just tested my Dream Tree Ceramic Conversion System and the water didn’t turn Blue with the Alkaline drops but it did turn pink with the Anti-Oxidant drops, why is that?(or it didn’t turn pink with the Anti-Oxidant drops but turned blue with the Alkaline drops) It is very possible for this to occur; unfortunately all three of our testing fluids are a chemical composition and can break down from time to time. The Filters are designed to treat the water that sits in the Ceramic Conversion System and the active ceramics will last you for at least 500 gallons. We suggest you rinse the filters with as high water pressure for 3 to 4 minutes after you clean them. The bathtub is a great place to get the extra pressure. If you don’t have good water pressure a longer rinse will be ok. See rinsing the bottom Filter. Is there anything extra I need to know about rinsing the Bottom Filter? The bottom Filter contains the ceramic material that makes the water Anti-Oxidant and adds Minerals. This Filter can accumulate particles from the water added to your Ceramic Conversion System. These particles are what need to be cleaned from your filter to keep it operating at its optimum efficiency. The hard pressure rinse is extremely important for this Filter. How can I clean my Anion Power Shower? The shower head and plate are designed to last for a number of years.
